Access and link custom page URLs

Updated October 26, 2026

How to find a custom page's URL and link it in your site or externally

When you create a custom page in Fourthwall, such as an About page, FAQ, or a landing page, you can easily copy its direct URL. This link can be used anywhere, including in your site navigation, buttons, text blocks, emails, and social media posts.

You find a custom page's settings and URL in Page settings. Open it from Site design > Layout (page dropdown > Page settings) or from Site design > Pages. Both lead to the same view, where you copy the page's Final URL. The Final URL is the public address of your custom page. Use it anywhere a URL is accepted, such as a menu, a button's Links to field, a custom code section, an email, or a social post.

  1. Go to Site design > Layout in your Fourthwall dashboard.

  2. Open the page dropdown at the top of the editor (it usually shows Home). Your custom pages are listed under Custom pages. Select the one you want. It opens in the editor with a preview.

  3. Click Page settings. You can also open it from Site design > Pages. It's the same view.

  4. Copy the Final URL shown there.

If you made the page members-only, non-members see a paywall instead of the page content. See Creating Members-Only Locked Pages.

note

If you have a custom domain connected, your page may be reachable at both your fourthwall.com subdomain and your custom domain. The Final URL shown in Page settings is the one to use. Copy it directly instead of typing the address yourself.

How to add the page to your site navigation

Now that we have the link to your custom page, let's use the header of your site as an example and add the URL to it.

  1. In the dashboard, go to Site design > Header > Edit menu.

  2. Click Add menu link, paste the custom page URL, enter a Link name, and click Add menu link.

  3. If preferred, you can re-order the menu items before saving.

Troubleshooting

Most page URL issues come down to using the wrong link. Here's how to fix the common ones.

My page opens at a different address than I expected

A page can be reachable at both your fourthwall.com subdomain and a connected custom domain, so the address in your browser bar may not match the link you shared. Both addresses load the same page, so this is usually nothing to worry about. To confirm which link to share, open Site design > Layout, select the page, click Page settings, and copy the Final URL. That Final URL is the authoritative link to use everywhere.

Visiting my page URL returns a 404

A 404 means the address doesn't match the page. Check the URL format first. Custom pages live under a /pages/ path. If you leave out /pages/ (for example, /about), Fourthwall redirects to the right page (/pages/about). A 404 happens when the page name in the address is wrong. Contact pages are easy to mix up: the built-in Contact page is at /contact, while a custom page you named "contact" is at /pages/contact. To get the correct format, copy the Final URL from Page settings instead of typing it by hand, then paste it into your browser, menu link, or button.
