Product Offer Open API

Read your Fourthwall product data with the documented Platform Open API and Storefront API endpoints

Fourthwall's published API reference at docs.fourthwall.com doesn't document a separate Product Offer Open API or a product-offers endpoint. To read your products with an API, use one of the two documented APIs below.

Which API should I use for product data?​

  • Platform Open API if you want your own shop's products in your own tools or scripts, or your app holds an OAuth token.
  • Storefront API if you're building a custom storefront that shows your public products to customers.

How do I get products from the Platform Open API?​

Send your Open API username and password from Settings > For developers with Basic auth. Apps use an OAuth token with the offer_read scope.

  • GET https://api.fourthwall.com/open-api/v1.0/products returns your products, with pagination (page and size, up to 100 per page).
  • GET https://api.fourthwall.com/open-api/v1.0/products/{productId} returns one product by ID.

How do I get products from the Storefront API?​

Create a token in the Storefront API section of Settings > For developers, and send it as the storefront_token query parameter. The Storefront API returns products through collections. Every shop has an all collection with all public products.

  • GET https://storefront-api.fourthwall.com/v1/collections/all/products?storefront_token=YOUR_TOKEN returns your public products, with pagination.
  • GET https://storefront-api.fourthwall.com/v1/products/{slug}?storefront_token=YOUR_TOKEN returns one product by its URL slug.

Frequently asked questions​

My requests to storefront.fourthwall.com/api/product-offers fail. What should I use instead?​

Use GET /open-api/v1.0/products on the Platform Open API, or GET /v1/collections/all/products on the Storefront API. Those are the product endpoints in Fourthwall's published API reference.

Can I change products through an API?​

Yes, through the Platform Open API. For example, POST /products creates a product and needs the offer_write scope for OAuth apps. The Storefront API is read-only for products. See the Platform Open API reference.
