Title and description generator

Good product titles and descriptions are important to capture your customers' interest. For some of us, coming up with product titles or descriptions does not come naturally. To make it easier, we have developed a title and description generator. We use AI to analyze the mockup and product being used to come up with an AI-generated title and product description. Here's how it works, what tools are used, and how we protect your data.
How does it work?
After you complete your design, in the section for adding product title, product description, and pricing, you will see below the field for product description a Generate title and description button. You can see an example in the image below.
Once you click Generate title and description, we use OpenAI GPT to analyze the product mockup, the product being used (i.e., Bella Canvas 3001 t-shirt), and additional product details to generate a product title and description.
The generator requires a product mockup to work. Make sure you've uploaded your design and selected a product before clicking the button.
Can I edit the product title or description?
Yes! If you don't like the generated title and description, you can manually edit the parts you do not like or regenerate so the AI comes up with a new one.
What makes a good product title or description?
Be sure to have some fun with your product names and descriptions! Allowing your personality to shine through will help to make the merch yours and be more meaningful to your customers. What data is the AI trained on?
For this feature, we use OpenAI Enterprise APIs. We do not train the AI with data as it uses OpenAI data, nor do we share any data from your product design or shop with OpenAI for training. We only share the mockups and details of the product being used (i.e., a t-shirt, model Bella Canvas 3001) that are read but not stored by OpenAI to provide the auto-generated product title and description. Is my data secured?
Yes, your product and shop data is completely protected. Nothing is shared until you click Generate title and description, and once you click there, only mockups and details of the product being used are shared temporarily for the generation of the title and description.
Troubleshooting
If the title and description generator isn't working as expected, check the solutions below.
Problem: You see "Failed to generate title and description" or a similar error after clicking the button. Solution: Make sure your product mockup has fully loaded and your internet connection is stable. Try refreshing the page and clicking Generate title and description again. If the error persists, try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache.
Problem: The generator button is grayed out or missing. Solution: The generator requires a product mockup. Go back to the design step, upload your artwork, and select a product. Once a mockup is available, the button will appear.
Problem: The generated title or description seems irrelevant or low quality. Solution: The AI bases its output on your product mockup and product type. Make sure your design is clearly visible on the mockup. You can click Generate title and description again to get a different result, or manually edit the text to better fit your brand.
Problem: The generator is temporarily unavailable or returns a timeout error. Solution: The generator relies on an external AI service. During periods of high demand, the service may be slow or temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try again. If the issue continues for more than an hour, contact us at support@fourthwall.com.
