How much shipping costs for your customers

Updated October 27, 2026

Your customers pay shipping at checkout. Shipping costs depend on the item type, destination, and manufacturing location. For products in Fourthwall's catalog, different manufacturers use various carriers and locations, leading to slightly different prices.

How do I check the shipping cost for a product?

If you only need the rate for one item:

  1. Open the Fourthwall Product catalog
  2. Click any product
  3. Click the Delivery by line under the price to see delivery costs and dates for major countries
  4. Click See more countries for other destinations

This is the simplest way to check single-item shipping.

Why shipping costs differ

Shipping rates depend on:

  • Destination country
  • Product weight and size
  • Order quantity
  • Local carrier availability
  • Which selling region you're browsing from

Can I offer free shipping?

Yes, with a promotion. When your promotion makes shipping free on items that Fourthwall or its production partners ship, you pay for it: the shipping cost is deducted from your profit on that order. See Who pays for shipping when I offer free shipping?.

How is shipping handled for items I ship myself?

Shipping that customers pay on items you ship yourself (self-fulfilled items) counts toward your order earnings and balance, and it's paid out with your regular payout. You pay your own carrier or courier separately, and Fourthwall doesn't deduct a shipping cost for these items. Payment processing fees still apply, so your earnings may not rise by the full shipping amount. Normal payout requirements and any holds also apply. See Understanding payout timing and schedules.

If a promotion makes shipping free on items you ship yourself, your customer pays no shipping for them, so there's no shipping amount to add to your balance. You still pay your own carrier, and Fourthwall still doesn't deduct a shipping cost. To set up a free shipping promotion, see Create a promo code.

Custom shipping options for self-fulfilled products, such as Priority Mail, need ShipStation. See Change your shipping options.
