# How to Reset Your Password

Reset your Fourthwall account password from the login screen using your account email address. The password reset link expires after 5 minutes. If you signed up with a social login (Google, Apple, etc.), you must reset your password through that provider — not through Fourthwall.

> **Note:** If you signed in with a social account (Google, Apple, or similar), you will need to reset your password directly through that platform. Fourthwall cannot reset passwords for social login accounts.

## How to reset your password

**Step 1:** On the [login screen](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard?redirect), click **Forgot password?** at the bottom of the form.
**Step 2:** Enter the email address associated with your Fourthwall account and click **Reset password**.

**Step 3:** Open the password reset email in your inbox and click the reset link. The link expires after 5 minutes — use it right away.
**Tip:** If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.

**Step 4:** Enter your new password and click **Confirm**. You can also choose to log out of other active devices at this step.
Your password has been updated. Log in with your new password as usual.

## Troubleshooting & Common Issues

**Problem:** I did not receive the password reset email.
**Solution:** Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders. If it is still not there after a few minutes, verify that you entered the correct email address for your Fourthwall account. If you are still not receiving the email, contact support@fourthwall.com.

**Problem:** The reset link says it has expired.
**Solution:** Password reset links expire after 5 minutes. Return to the login screen, click **Forgot password?** again, and request a new reset email. Open and use the new link immediately.

**Problem:** I signed up with Google or Apple and do not know my password.
**Solution:** Fourthwall does NOT manage passwords for social login accounts. Reset your password directly through Google (myaccount.google.com) or Apple (appleid.apple.com), then return to Fourthwall and log in using that social login option.

**Problem:** I successfully reset my password but still cannot log in.
**Solution:** Confirm you are using the newly created password (not the old one) and that there are no typos. If you have multiple Fourthwall accounts, verify you are logging into the correct one.
