# Integration options for Fourthwall with other platforms

Fourthwall does not offer direct plugins for WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or Printify. There are three ways to connect or migrate what you've built: use a separate subdomain for Fourthwall, build a custom frontend with the Storefront API, or embed individual product pages via iframe or custom HTML.

## How to integrate Fourthwall with another platform

There are three main integration approaches:

1. **Use a separate subdomain for Fourthwall.** Point a subdomain like `shop.example.com` to your Fourthwall shop so supporters can browse and buy from a branded URL alongside your main site.
2. **Use the Fourthwall Storefront API.** Build a fully custom frontend (with Vercel, Lovable, or any framework) while Fourthwall handles products, orders, and fulfillment behind the scenes.
3. **Embed with an iframe or custom HTML.** Add individual Fourthwall product pages directly into your existing site using an iframe block or HTML snippet (for example, in WordPress, Wix, or Hostinger).

## WordPress

Fourthwall does NOT have a WordPress plugin. The following options are available:

- **Link to your shop.** Add a "Shop Now" button or menu link that points to your Fourthwall store URL. This is the simplest and most reliable option.
- **Direct checkout links.** Use Fourthwall's direct checkout links to create "Buy Now" buttons for individual products within WordPress posts or pages.
- **Custom HTML embed (advanced).** Use an `<iframe>` embed block in WordPress to display a single Fourthwall product page inline on your site.

You cannot fully embed your entire Fourthwall shop in WordPress. Full functionality (navigation, cart, and checkout) will NOT work inside an iframe. Supporters will be redirected to your Fourthwall storefront to complete checkout. For a seamless shopping experience, linking out is the recommended option.

Fourthwall's Storefront API can be used alongside WordPress. The API is called from a custom frontend, not from WordPress itself. Using WordPress as the frontend in a headless setup is technically possible but is an advanced integration and NOT officially supported by Fourthwall.

## Wix and Hostinger

Both Wix and Hostinger support custom code snippets, so the same methods apply:

- Link to your Fourthwall store with a button or menu.
- Add direct checkout links as Buy Now buttons on any page.
- Embed individual product pages using custom HTML blocks (advanced users only).

Embedding works only at the page level. You cannot embed your entire Fourthwall shop, and checkout always routes back to Fourthwall.

## Shopify

Fourthwall is a full e-commerce and fulfillment platform and does NOT integrate with Shopify. If you are currently on Shopify, you have two options:

- **Migrate fully to Fourthwall.** Use built-in features for Print-on-Demand (POD), YouTube and TikTok integrations, and automated fulfillment. Fourthwall does NOT currently offer a Shopify import tool — your storefront must be rebuilt manually.
- **Link from Shopify to Fourthwall.** Continue using Shopify for other parts of your site while linking to Fourthwall for merch sales.

## Printful

Printful is Fourthwall's manufacturing partner, but you cannot connect an existing standalone Printful account directly to Fourthwall. The following options are available:

- Any product from the Printful catalog can be added to your Fourthwall shop as a new product.
- To migrate existing Printful designs (including mockups, size charts, and product details), fill out the [Printful migration request form](https://app.bluecatforms.com/il0h66EU/new-form). The Fourthwall team will load the items into your shop.
- Once products are live in Fourthwall, orders are automatically produced and fulfilled through the Printful integration. You do not need to manage Printful separately.

## Printify

Fourthwall does NOT support a direct integration with Printify. If you need additional fulfillment or product options, consider:

- Fourthwall's built-in integrations (Printful, ShipStation, Zapier).
- Contacting the Fourthwall team to request a custom product listing.
- Using [Printify's API](https://printify.com/printify-api/) separately with manual export/import workflows (advanced, NOT officially supported by Fourthwall).

## Headless commerce and custom storefronts

If you want full control over your storefront's design and functionality, Fourthwall's Storefront API lets you build a custom shopping experience from scratch while Fourthwall handles products, orders, and fulfillment behind the scenes.

With headless commerce, your custom frontend connects directly to Fourthwall through the Storefront API. You fetch product data, manage carts, and redirect supporters to Fourthwall's hosted checkout to complete their purchase.

Two supported approaches:

- **Vercel with the official Next.js template.** Fourthwall provides a ready-to-deploy `vercel-commerce` template that connects to the Storefront API out of the box. Deploy to Vercel in one click and customize from there. See the How to Integrate Vercel with Fourthwall guide for the full setup.
- **Lovable (AI website builder).** Lovable lets you describe the site you want in plain language and generates a working React app you can connect to Fourthwall's Storefront API. See the How to Integrate Lovable with Fourthwall guide for step-by-step instructions.

Both approaches use Fourthwall's hosted checkout. Supporters browse products on your custom site and are redirected to Fourthwall to complete payment. Fourthwall remains your Merchant of Record (MoR), so all tax and legal liability handling stays in place.

## Recommendations by use case

- To keep your existing WordPress, Wix, Hostinger, or Shopify site: link out to your Fourthwall store for the merch side rather than attempting to embed it.
- If you have existing Printful products: submit the migration request form early so products are ready when you launch on Fourthwall.
- For maximum simplicity: many creators migrate fully into Fourthwall so merch, fulfillment, and integrations all run from one place.
- For automation workflows (such as adding supporters to a membership plugin after purchase): explore [Zapier integrations](https://zapier.com/apps/fourthwall/integrations).

## Troubleshooting & Common Issues

**Problem:** The iframe embed of a Fourthwall product page is not displaying correctly in WordPress or Wix.
**Solution:** Some Fourthwall pages block iframe embedding for security reasons. Use a direct checkout link or a standard hyperlink button instead. The iframe approach is advanced and NOT officially supported.

**Problem:** Migrated Printful designs are not appearing in my Fourthwall shop.
**Solution:** The migration request form is processed by the Fourthwall team. Allow time for processing after submitting. If designs have not appeared after a reasonable wait, contact [support@fourthwall.com](mailto:support@fourthwall.com) referencing your migration request.
