# Create your Fourthwall account

Sign up at fourthwall.com, complete a short profile setup, and verify your email. The whole process takes a few minutes.

## Step 1: Access the signup page

Go to [fourthwall.com](https://fourthwall.com/) and click **Start now**.

## Step 2: Choose your signup method

You can sign up with Google, Apple, or Email. Select your preferred method and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your account.

## Step 3: Set up your profile (pre-onboarding)

After signing up, you'll complete a short profile setup with three fields:

- **What best describes you.** Choose one: Content creator, Business, Group, Artist, Individual, Agency, or None of the above.

- **Your name and Shop name.** The name you enter becomes your Creator name, which supporters see during checkout and on marketing emails. The Shop name becomes your Site title, which appears in browser tabs and search engine results. You can change both later in [**Settings > General**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/general?redirect).

- **Social channel (optional).** Select the primary platform where most of your audience engages with you (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, Instagram). Even if you're active in multiple places, pick the one where your audience is most active.

Click **Continue** to reach your Fourthwall dashboard.

## What supporters can see

Fourthwall keeps your personal account information separate from what supporters see.

- **Creator name** (set in [**Settings > General**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/general?redirect)): Visible to supporters during checkout and on marketing emails. This is your public-facing name.
- **Site title** (set in [**Settings > General**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/general?redirect)): Appears in browser tabs and search engine results. Maximum 70 characters.
- **Full name** (set in [**Account settings > General**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/account?redirect)): Used internally by Fourthwall only. Supporters cannot see your full name.
- **Account email** (shown in [**Account settings > General**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/account?redirect)): Used for login and email verification only. Supporters cannot see your account email address.

Your Creator name is the only name supporters see. If you want to use a brand name, stage name, or alias, set it as your Creator name in **Settings > General**. Your full legal name stays private in your account settings.

## Step 4: Verify your email

Fourthwall sends a confirmation email after signup. Click **Verify email address** to complete setup.

This reopens your Fourthwall [dashboard](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard?redirect), where you can continue onboarding by creating your first product, customizing your site, and exploring other features.
