# How do I create new product listings?

Fourthwall supports three types of product listings: Fourthwall-catalog products (Print-on-Demand, or POD), self-sourced physical products, and digital products. All three are created from the **Products** tab in your dashboard by clicking **Create New Product**.

## How to create a product listing

1. In your Fourthwall dashboard, go to [**Products** > **All Products**](https://my-site.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/products/all/?redirect).
2. Click **Create New Product** in the top-right corner.
3. A menu appears with three options. Select the product type you want to create.

## Design something new (Fourthwall catalog)

This option creates print-on-demand products from the Fourthwall catalog. You browse hundreds of products, including apparel, accessories, and home goods, then apply your design. Fourthwall handles manufacturing, fulfillment, and shipping for each order.

Use this option when:
- You want to sell branded merchandise without managing inventory or shipping
- You have design artwork ready to apply to a product

After selecting this option, you are taken to the product catalog to browse and select your blank product, then into the design editor to apply your artwork.

## Sell something I have (self-sourced)

This option creates a listing for a product you source and ship yourself. You enter all product details manually, including title, description, price, images, and variants. Fourthwall collects payment and passes orders to you for fulfillment.

Use this option when:
- You manufacture, print, or source your own products
- You sell signed items, handmade goods, limited-edition physical items, or any product not in the Fourthwall catalog

## Sell digital product

This option creates a listing for a downloadable file, such as PDFs, ebooks, digital art, presets, templates, or audio files. Supporters download the file instantly after purchase. No shipping is involved.

Use this option when:
- You want to sell digital files that supporters download instantly
- You create art prints, music, patterns, guides, or similar content delivered as files

## Troubleshooting

**Problem:** The **Create New Product** button is not visible.
**Solution:** Confirm you are on the **All Products** page, not the product catalog or collections view. The button appears in the top-right corner of the All Products page.

**Problem:** Not sure which product type to choose.
**Solution:** If you want to apply a design to a shirt, hoodie, mug, or similar item and have Fourthwall handle all fulfillment, choose **Design something new**. If you own physical inventory you ship yourself, choose **Sell something I have**. If you are selling a downloadable file, choose **Sell digital product**.
