# Edit button text

You can change the text on any call-to-action button in your Fourthwall shop, such as "Shop Now" or "Subscribe", to better match your brand voice. Button labels are edited in the site designer Layout tab. Only the label changes — your product artwork, design settings, and images stay the same.

## How to change button text

1. Go to **Site Design** > **Layout** in your Fourthwall dashboard.
2. Find the section that contains the button you want to update and click **Edit...**.

3. In the Button element, update the **Button text** field with your preferred wording.

4. Preview the changes to confirm the update.
5. Click **Save** to apply.

## What to keep in mind

- Only the button label changes. Product artwork, design settings, link destinations, and images are not affected.
- Keep button text short, clear, and action-oriented. Labels like "Buy Now" or "Learn More" work better than vague or long phrases.
- Button color is set by your site's color palette. You can choose **Use primary color** or **Use text color** for each button type. See [Advanced Button Customization](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/advanced-button-customization) to style primary and secondary buttons separately.
