# Create and edit custom pages on your site

Custom pages let you add dedicated pages to your Fourthwall site for content like an About section, press kit, FAQ, or blog. Once created, you can customize their layout, add or reorder sections, and link them into your site navigation.

## Step 1: Create a new custom page

To create a custom page, go to [**Site design** > **Layout**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/store-design/layout/index/?redirect) in your dashboard. From the page dropdown (usually showing "Home"), click **Create page**.

Enter a title for your page and click **Create**.

The new page appears under "Custom pages" in the dropdown.

## Step 2: Edit your custom page

After creating the page, select it from the dropdown to open it in the editor. The page loads in preview mode and is ready for customization. From here you can adjust the header, add sections, and change the layout.

## Step 3: Add, move, or delete sections

Custom pages support a range of content sections. Use the controls in the editor to build your layout.

**Add content:** Click **Add header, page, or footer section** and choose a section type. Available section types include:

- **Banner** — a full-width image or video header
- **Image** — a standalone image block
- **Collection** — display a product collection
- **Custom HTML** — embed your own code
- **Social feeds** — pull in content from social platforms
- **Text** — a simple text block
- **Text blocks** — divides longer content into structured segments so visitors can scan and engage more easily

For more on the available section types, see [Designing Your Site: Navigating the Layout Tab](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/navigate-layout-tab).

**Move sections:** Drag a section using the six-dot handle to reorder it on the page.

**Hide sections:** Click the eye icon next to a section to temporarily remove it from view without deleting it.

**Delete sections:** Open a section and click **Delete** to remove it permanently. You can also hide, rename, or duplicate a section from this menu.

Keep Contact, Privacy Policy, Returns, and FAQ pages intact to meet legal and support standards.

## Step 4: Use your page site-wide

Once your page is ready, connect it to the rest of your site in a few ways:

- **Add it to the site menu.** Go to **Site design** > **Header** (or **Footer**) > **Edit menu**, or add it to a [custom drop-down menu](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/edit-menus-and-dropdowns).
- **Feature it on a page.** Use a [Feature collection](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/add-collection-section) or [Custom HTML](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/add-custom-html-and-code-to-your-site) section to link to it from your homepage or another custom page.
- **Share the URL.** Copy your page URL and share it in social posts, emails, or marketing materials.

## Frequently asked questions

## Can I put a page into draft mode so it's not public?

No. Individual custom pages don't have a separate draft or published state. The site designer uses a **Save**, **Preview**, and **Publish** workflow for design changes (see [Previewing changes before publishing](/getting-started/design-my-storefront/previewing-changes-before-publishing)), but once you create and save a page, it's live on your site.

To keep a page hidden from visitors, use one of these options:

- **Remove it from your site menu.** Go to **Site design** > **Header** or **Footer** > **Edit menu** and unlink the page. Visitors won't see it in navigation, though the direct URL still works.
- **Hide all sections with the eye icon.** Click the eye icon next to each section to temporarily hide its content.
- **Set the page as members-only.** Restrict access so only your members can view it. See [Creating members-only locked pages](/memberships/getting-started-with-memberships/creating-members-only-locked-pages) for setup steps.
- **Delete the page entirely.** Remove the page from your site if you no longer need it.
