# Fourthwall Pro FAQs

Fourthwall Pro is an optional paid plan at $19/month or $180/year (saving $48 annually). It adds higher product limits, priority support, 0% digital product fees, $10 monthly sample credit, unlimited team members, and a free .store domain. The free plan remains available with all core tools. This article answers the most common questions about Pro features, limits, and billing.

## What is Fourthwall Pro?

Fourthwall remains free with all core tools included. Fourthwall Pro is an optional paid plan for creators who need more flexibility. Pro adds higher product limits, priority support, 0% digital product fees, $10 monthly sample credit, unlimited team members, and a free .store domain. It is best for creators launching bespoke products, managing large teams, or growing digital product sales.

## Who should upgrade to Pro?

Any creator can upgrade to Pro, but it is especially valuable for:

- Creators who sell over $100/month in digital products (they get a 0% platform fee instead of 5%)
- Creators who regularly order product samples (they receive $10 in sample credit per month)
- Creators with large teams (Pro allows unlimited team members)

## Do I have to upgrade to Pro?

No. Upgrading to Pro is entirely optional. With Pro, you gain access to perks like monthly sample credit and a free .store domain. You can compare plans at [fourthwall.com/pricing](http://fourthwall.com/pricing).

## What happens if I'm not on Pro?

Free plan limits depend on when you signed up:

- **Signed up after August 25, 2025:** The Fourthwall Free plan comes with a 50-product cap and a 2-team-member maximum. You can have 50 products (active or hidden) in your dashboard at once and add only one additional team member to your site.
- **Signed up before August 25, 2025:** You can keep everything you've already published, even if you're above the limit, but you won't be able to add new products once you reach your cap.

## Will I lose anything I already have?

No. Your site and existing products are not impacted. If you're over the limit for team members or products, everything you already have stays. You will not be able to add more beyond your plan's limits unless you archive products or remove team members.

## Why did Fourthwall launch Pro?

Fourthwall created Pro to give creators more advanced tools and perks while keeping Fourthwall free for everyone. Pro helps support larger teams, prevent spam, and continue improving the platform.

## How does the monthly sample credit work?

Once a month, $10 in sample credit is added to your sample credit balance. These credits do not expire and accumulate for as long as you have Pro. You do not need to use them each month.

## If I have more than one shop, does my upgrade count for each one?

No. You need to choose which shop you'd like to upgrade to Fourthwall Pro. The upgrade does not automatically apply to all your shops, even if they share the same login.

## Does the 0% digital products fee include the payment processing fee?

No. There is still a transaction fee for payment processing. The 0% refers to the platform fee only. On the Free plan, digital product sales carry a 5% platform fee; on Pro, that platform fee drops to 0%.

## Does the 0% platform fee on digital products also remove the 5% fee on Memberships?

No. The 0% platform fee applies only to digital product sales. Memberships continue to have the standard 5% platform fee regardless of your plan.

## If I upgrade to Pro after Supporters have already placed orders, will the fees on those orders change?

No. Platform fees and processing fees are determined at the moment of checkout and locked in at that time. Upgrading or downgrading your plan does not retroactively change fees on orders placed before the plan change. New rates apply only to sales made after the upgrade takes effect.

## Does the 2-team-member limit for Free include myself?

Yes. With Fourthwall Free, you count as one of the two team members. This means you can invite one other person to help manage your shop.

## Does the product limit include both physical and digital products?

Yes. Both digital and physical products count toward your product listing maximum.

- Fourthwall Free: 50 product maximum
- Fourthwall Pro: 500 product maximum

## What products are counted toward the product limit?

All active products, including live or hidden products, count toward your product listing maximum. Archived products do not count.

## Can the 500-product limit on Fourthwall Pro be increased?

No. The 500-product cap on Fourthwall Pro is fixed and cannot be raised, even by request. The limit is intentional, set to protect platform performance and keep the catalog experience fast for both creators and Supporters.

If you need to list more designs, use these workarounds:

- **Archive inactive products.** Archived products do not count toward your 500-product limit. Move slow-moving or seasonal items to your archive to free up space.
- **Use combined product listings.** Group multiple design variations into a single listing instead of publishing each one as its own product. One combined listing counts as one product against your limit.

## How do I know what plan I currently have?

In your Fourthwall dashboard, go to **Settings** > [**Billings and payouts**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/billing/?redirect) and scroll to the **Your Plan** section. You'll see your current plan and next billing cycle.

## How do I claim my free Pro domain?

After upgrading to Pro, go to your Fourthwall dashboard to find and claim your free .store domain.

## How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to **Settings** > [**Billings and payouts**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/billing/?redirect) in your dashboard and scroll to the **Your Plan** section. There you'll see an option to cancel your Fourthwall Pro subscription.

## Does the Pro monthly sample credit roll over?

Yes. The $10 monthly sample credit accumulates indefinitely. Credits do not expire and do not reset each month. They build up over time as long as you maintain a Pro subscription.

## What happens if my Pro plan payment fails?

Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period, so you won't lose features right away. Stripe, the payment processor Fourthwall uses, automatically retries the charge over the following days. If the retry succeeds, your subscription continues with no interruption. If the payment is not resolved, your plan is downgraded to Fourthwall Free at the end of the billing period.

## How do I update my payment method for Fourthwall Pro?

Go to **Settings** > [**Billings and payouts**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/billing/?redirect) in your dashboard. Under the **Your Plan** section, update the card on file. If your card was declined or expired, update it as soon as possible so Stripe can successfully retry the charge.

## My card was declined for my Pro subscription. What should I do?

First, check that your card hasn't expired and that you have sufficient funds. Then go to **Settings** > [**Billings and payouts**](https://my-shop.fourthwall.com/admin/dashboard/settings/billing/?redirect) and update your payment method. Stripe will automatically retry the charge after you update your card. If you continue to have trouble, contact your bank to confirm the transaction isn't being blocked, or reach out to us at [support@fourthwall.com](mailto:support@fourthwall.com).
